Sobras
Siempre que hacemos un proyecto sobra algo de estambre y lo vamos acumulando y acumulando sin poderlo usar por que no es suficiente para nada. Pues, por qué no hacemos una cobija con todos los sobrantes?
Es algo que ya sabían nuestras abuelitas pero que nosotros nunca hacemos, dejemos de acumular sobrantes y emepecemos a tejer.

Calendario navideño
Algunas familias suelen poner un calendario el mes de diciembre para saber exáctamente qué día es navidad.
A Emily Ivey se le ocurrió uno muy original y que los pondrá a todos a tejer. Cada uno de los días es un pequeño guante, en los que además pueden meter dulces o juguetes para así hacer divertido todo el mes.

Cool Knitter
Nicole se dedica al diseño gráfico para ganarse la vida, así que ésto del tejido es un hobby que lleva a cabo de una gran manera. No tiene patrones disponibles por que sólo hace las piezas como le van saliendo. Así que tendrán que arreglárselas para hacer uno parecido.
Nos encantan sus diseños pero sobre todo su actitud. No creen?

Weave in all loose ends except for the tails on the feet.
Attach safety eyes directly under the first two bobbles on the head.
Lightly stuff tail and fold yellow inner lining into body. Add a little more stuffing to the head, between the eyes.
Attach lining to top and bottom jaws using mattress stitch, beginning at the top front of jaw, sewing around to the bottom and continuing around the other side.
Attach feet to body at a forward-pointed angle.
